My thoughts ...lid is baby proof, but ok for 3 year old to turn, totally no spill when lid closed, turned and shaken upside down, cover snaps on to keep spout clean, great flow, neck wide enough for small ice cubes to keep water cool for longer, lid good enough to keep in water when top turned to open and shaken upside down....love it!
